I had a great time here - the shop is clean, fresh and bright, and the staff are friendly and approachable. There's a great range of clothes, some homewares, and a decent selection of books and DVDs. The prices are slightly higher than some op shops, but given the in-store experience and quality of stock, it's quite reasonable. The books here are sorted by the colour of their spines, making for an attractive feature on the back wall. The selection of titles is quite strong, so a thorough dig is well rewarded. Looking forward to returning - thanks, folks!
ThI books being organised by colour. It may have been thought it would be cool and nice. But honestly it’s just annoying. Secondly, prices are crazy ridiculous for a op shop. A second hand shop full of clothes they get for free. Many people shop at op shops when they can’t afford full price, and many other reasons. But honestly ridiculous. Staff are friendly.
Great op shop. Prices are a little high. Please don’t price Kmart clothes high 😔
What a great Op Shop. Clean, organised with a great variety of items in great condition. The store manager was friendly and very helpful. We will definitely visit again.
You can find some great items but the prices are crazy especially when you’re seeing items for sale at more than RRP or for a higher price than currently on sale in the actual store. For example used shoes for $35 when I can go online during a sale and get some brand new for $40. Today we bought a used hot wheels car for $2 and it wasn’t even in the bag when we got home. I didn’t even realise that Uniting still used a points/rewards system as I’ve spent HUNDREDS here just in the past 12 months and I’ve never once been asked for my membership details. However we went to Chapel St store in Melbourne recently and the person at the till asked if I was a member - I said OH YES I signed up in Golden Square years ago before they moved. So I’ve definitely missed out on a fair few $5 vouchers. I do actually like the clothes being sorted by colour because I only wear certain colours but sucks when you find something cool not in your size.
