I cant believe that what used to be the best and most affordable op shop has now started to charge outrageous prices for some of its clothing. I picked up a pair of warm ladies pants yesterday and was shocked at the price tag of $80!!! A coat with a price tag of $130!!! These items have been donated to help those who cant afford to buy from retail stores. Really disappointing.
Used to go here frequently being a local buy my recent visit was very disappointing. Staff were rude & the prices are out of touch with community struggling with the coast of living & hoping to find a bargain at their local oppy.
Asked to check if an item was waterproof by putting a drop of water on the fabric, as there was no label and got said it’s not possible as it could ruin the jacket. We didn’t know that water in Queensland its dangerous for the fabrics.. so for the rest of the rainy day we got all our clothes ruined and once home we had to throw them all away 😢
Went up to Coolum from Brisbane with my mother Inlaw for the day and decided to drop into this location and have a look. I manage to score 2 designer dresses with a total of $9.Bargain! Salvo staff are also helpful and lovely. Will be back again in near future!
