I come to salvos for the Mondays which is when the tag stickers change over. This store was ok, some prices too high on clothing but locals can always keep checking back in until items go to 50% off then $2. Books much more expensive than most op shops. The $2 rack had quite a lot of clothing in it but the other salvos in Mandurah had much bigger.
I mainly shop here for cookware, glassware, and cutlery, which I find affordable. While a few items around the store are surprisingly priced, there’s still plenty that makes the visit worthwhile. I’ve seen customers treat the staff very rudely which is disappointing. They are volunteers trying to help their community, and I’m grateful they keep returning. The weekly colour-tag sales are great for bargains, and the affordable gift trinkets at the front are worth a look. I usually find something good and leave happy.
Overall a nice store but the prices on some items are ridiculous. This biscuit tin you can sometimes get in coles for $8 or so, filled with cream biscuits. At this Salvos, you can get a used EMPTY tin for $7? It doesn’t make sense. It should be $1
