HYPOCRISY at its best. Now even kmart is cheaper than the so called "op shops" pretending to be charity...... Charity for who??! Definitely not for the people of Australia......... the prices here reflect greed, scarcity and inflexibility. Not the purpose of an opshop. But unfortunately it's just another one of these hypocrit opshops.... selling DONATED FREE items according to their brand value. How stupid can it get? Help the people in australia! Not somewhere in the nowhere....

This Salvos store is amazingly organised with lovely staff that greet you with sincerity and the highest level of service. Nicely sorted out in colour and size order with 'themed' dedicated areas for an ease in shopping experience.

Came and visited the local Salvos store in Lakelands. The store was very well run, clean and lovely staff who were happy to help. But my oh my the prices are deplorable. I went to buy a simple plastic sauce bottle and they had them second hand for $2. The KMart next door had them NEW for $1.75. One male staff member said that their lowest price was $2. When I asked if they would lower the price they refused. I said I always liked to support charity shops but not if they are more expensive than buying new. Other pieces were way overpriced and one other shopper, who was a local, said that the dinner set for $189 had been there for over 6 months.
