Stopped by Vinnies Hawthorn and was pleasantly surprised by how much stock they had. It's a decent-sized store with plenty to browse, making it easy to spend some time looking for hidden gems. There was a good range of clothing, shoes, handbags, books, homewares, kitchenware, décor, and the usual mix of unique second-hand finds that make op shopping fun. The store felt organised and easy to navigate, with enough space between sections that it didn't feel cramped. The clothing section was particularly good, with lots of options across different styles and sizes. I also enjoyed browsing through the books and household items, where there were plenty of interesting pieces mixed in. Prices were reasonable and there were definitely bargains to be found if you're willing to have a proper look around.

Had a really lovely chat with the guy running the place, really good community atmosphere. Noticed some other customers being absolutely rude and asking for the world for nothing, and he dealt with them with grace. Will you run into every conspiracy theorist and mile high karen this city has to offer here? Yes. Will you also run into a lovely group trying to help vulnerable people in need like charities did when I was a lad? Also yes.

Love, love, love this place for children's toys. They are always so well categorised and easy to sort through. Not a fan of the kids clothes - generally overpriced and not well organised. However 5 stars for the toys - have found a lot of treasures in that section.
