The salvation army store in Levin is very nice. All the items I looked at were reasonably priced and good condition. The selection of items was very good with lots to choose from. They were all displayed nicely. The staff were nice and friendly. What I bought were all good. I would recommend going to the Salvation Arm Family Store in Levin

Always have lots to look at have brought few items over past couple years . I have sever social anxiety so sing everywhere I go I tend to get off looks the people at the store treat me like any other customer I enjoy going in even when I don't purchase anything. Such awesome variety too .

Fantastic place of worship and a very relaxing place. The office staff are awesome, if you need a budget adviser the budget adviser is excellent, very understanding and helpful with any of your budgeting requirements. Each week on a Tuesday morning and Thursday morning they have a selection of bread that is free to the community. They even have food bags available for those in need. A place to try out.

I always believed the Salvation Army to be there for the under dog. The people in our community that are struggling to get by. I understand it is run by volunteers. I understand there is rent and power to pay for the shop to be functional. But what has happened to the helping of our community? The prices in the store are extremely high. In some cases the prices match or even cost more than the same item bought elsewhere at retail prices. For this reason I now gift household items to the hospice shop or St John's shop who will negotiate the price to suit your budget requirements when you need something urgently in a time of great need. In fact on the death of my Aunt we gifted the hospice shop the entire house contents knowing the Salvation Army would only sky rocket the prices.
