The best vibes! Great new and second hand options of music from around the world! The staff and the owner are great and always keen to chat about records and music! They also do insane gigs in-store!
One word: FUNKY Excellent selection, well priced second hand records, and some really cool new stuff. The occasional live instore gigs are always amazing.

Lucky to live close to Northside Records . For my needs this record store is #1 . The service is great and if you haven’t seen the finger lickin $5 box , highly recommend it I generally go for a lucky dip and picked out another “top track” Originally released on a B side in 1973 “For the love of Money” popular R&B track this is a 98 release , by Charli Baltimore (wow) she knows her stuff . Very happy thanks Northside see you soon
Best record store I found in town! Huge selection including way more local stuff than I found anywhere else, really well organised. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, gave me lots of recommendations of records to check out and gigs to see while I was in town. Really made my trip to Melbourne so good! Well worth a stop for music lovers visiting Melbourne!
