Fantastic people and food - I was able to get a bite in my current desperate position at the church near Surfer's Paradise tram station. The food was very tasty and there was a lot of fruit salad - a woman named Rosie also sat down and talked to me and gave me some good advice for my current situation which I took on board. Thank you for the meal and the good vibes - I hope I can volunteer or help in some way in the future.
Yeah I love Rosies too. Had coffee with them tonight. A big shout-out to Shelly, what a great woman! Her eyes were full of love and joy tonight and just really wonderful to chat with.
Rosie's Van with Andrews team have just left where I live at Yeronga. It's a Boarding House that houses approx 33 rooms. Not only a nice cuppa & a chat they have goodies that are essentials to most people. All of Andrews team are approachable on all levels & make everybody feel great & to all the support workers who are volunteering their time on a Sunday, days from Christmas just goes to show how special this team is. Power to all at Rosie's & God Bless. Kim & Craig.
Strong Association with Iona College and the Iona Students. Should be encouraged more by other schools. A real positive getting the students to help and give back to the community.
