The guy who was running the shop today is such an amazing person! Kind, honest, compassionate and generous. Down to earth atmosphere. Despite being small, the shop had quite a few cute pieces which were reasonably priced. Clean and tidy. Clothing quality was great too and had all sorts of different styles. I hope I can come here another time ~ only issue is it is really far from where I live 💔
Several times I have donated top quality and branded women’s clothing to the shop and been met with rude/ strange behaviour by the staff. Whilst I appreciate that they are volunteers, they should improve their customer service and atleast say a thank you, not sniff the clothes or ignore me when I say goodbye after donating. I’ve been treated like I’ve done something wrong three times here for offering donations, when it should be the opposite really. I will donate to Vinnies on Crown St going forward.
I stopped in this op-shop on my trip to Sydney and it was the best one I visited of the trip! The sales associate was very fun and personable. His music choices for the shop were top notch and he was singing along. Shopping with a show :) I found some great clothes there and even a greeting card I really liked.
noffs op shop is my go-to when i feel like thrifting. this store has a lot of quality brands and most clothes are $5, there's a $2 bin filled with pretty good clothes too. a lot of shoes around $5-$10, and bric-a-bracs under $5. i always found something to get when i visit. people who work here are all really nice and chatty. overall the store has really good vibes. i found a brand new green top, which really was a hidden gem to me because i was desperately looking for something to wear for a concert and it suits perfectly for the occasion & the size fits really well. i'm so happy about this purchase. i also accidentally lost my earphones and it turned out to be in the shop. the next day i came back to search, they already found it & keep it safe in a ziploc bag. the worker also gave me a rubberband to keep my earphone case closed, it's simple but really thoughtful. i have really good experiences here and i'm sure i'll be coming back often!
