This is our op shop of choice in the town of the best op shops in Aus. Full of surprises with the most wonderful people happy to help. Our last visit proved the best evah. Know what we found? A signed copy of Heston Blumenthal's Fantastical Feasts in absolutely mint condition! Then at the counter, Tim turned the occasion into a minor shopping festival! Heston's book may be gone but Tim is still at Lifeline Wallsend. Ask him what other treasures are in-store today. You will be surprised.
Tim and the entire team here are absolutely incredible! You can tell they put so much heart into the shop—it’s always beautifully organised, clean, and has such an inviting atmosphere the moment you walk through the door. What really sets them apart is how personal the experience feels. They have an amazing eye for detail and actually take the time to get to know your personal style. I’ve lost count of how many times they’ve pointed out a piece they knew I’d love before I even saw it. It’s easily one of the best shopping experiences in the area. Highly recommend stopping by to hunt for some gems!
Lifeline Wallsend is a great op shop to visit. The Manager and his staff are very polite and I am always greeted when I enter the store. Great prices. I love visiting weekly.
Five star rating for Lifeline Op shop in Wallsend! It has lots of good quality second hand items at reasonable prices. The store is really well organised with everything displayed in an attractive way. The clothing is clean with a good size range. They have bargain priced clothing racks out the front. The manager and his staff are friendly and helpful. They genuinely care about their customers. I always make sure to check out this op shop when I’m in Newcastle as the staff in this store are really great!
I bought a microwave from this shop recently. I wanted to share my appreciation for how professional and polite Tim was while I was deciding. He looked up the model on google and answered all my questions. Every time I visit the staff are polite and accommodating to all my needs. I will be back. :) Thank you lifeline.
