Good Sammy Mt Lawley Op Shop

Fantastic op shop. Dedicated designer/high end section with a fabtastic range thats affordable. I found two pieces of clothing from this section that were fantastic qualty and a really good price. They have a strange set pricing system in place across the rest of the store which means you can pay $11 for a tatty worn out dress or the same price for a really good high street brand dress. Shoe section was fairly limited. Great book section. Staff were really lovely. Will definitely go again.

Big store with a good range. Standard expensive op shop prices, set price so $9 for a pair of pants. If they were half the price, I would have bought a few and just donated back the ones I didn’t want. These days you’ve got to really want the item to justify the price tag. It’s a better model to price lower so people spend more then return what they don’t love later. You always want a customer to leave an op shop having bought something. Kitchenware was about as expensive as other op shops. You should low to get the items moving so they don’t sit there for months and months and you actually get some stock rotation. Plenty of donations always coming in. I did things differently when I volunteered in an op shop chain. That said, there was a big rack of $2 dresses and I found a couple in there that I’ll be able to tailor myself.

Have dropped off a few items and the lady there there dismissively told me 'just leave it there' and walked away. There was no 'thank you' or even just a polite smile. Strange. I probably wont be dropping anymore items there. The staff is unfriendly and rude. So disappointing.

One of my very favourite op shops on earth, and I’ve been to mannny countries. It’s just the perfect amount of variety, quality, pricing and space. To shop happily with no crowding. I love this place and always recommend it.
