Full of retired library books. It's a full size book store without the full size price. Worth a look. Also handy to the train station if you'd like cheap travel to go with your cheap books.
Absolutely love this place and highly recommend anyone visit! There is such a wide range of good quality second hand books and DVDs, I could have spent hours browsing around. Can't wait to come back in the new year.
For any book lover or book hunter, this is a must-visit place in Brisbane. I absolutely fell in love with this shop and even picked up a few books to take home with me. The place is huge and offers a wide variety of genres. Some books cost as little as 50 cents, and you can find many popular and well-known titles in great condition and at super affordable prices. The staff were really nice and helpful when I asked where to find the genre I was looking for. Sadly, I’m only traveling this time, but I’d love to come back again to explore more and hunt for more treasures. P.S. I’m definitely keeping this place on my Google Maps favorites!
This is one of the two second hand bookstores I have visited most in the river city over the past decade, especially before the pandemic. Today is my second time here this year. It was a really quiet Sunday morning and there were only a few customers in the shop, even though the bustling little Sunday market just a few dozen meters away. Was a little surprised last time that they were also selling foreign language books, such as Chinese, Japanese and Korean, etc. That time I bought a Buddhist booklet published in Taiwan. And today I got some zines about several amazing artists.
A real gem hidden away in a small factory. The staff are super helpful (a very friendly person named Ruth showed me around) and there is a wide range of books at a really good price. A lot of the books are ex library, but still great value for $5 each
