Of all the op shops I've gone to, this is by far the best. Very well organised, friendly staff, and it goes to a good cause ! Get into it !
I am from Christchurch and visited Hamilton Central and stumbled upon “Op Shop (for Breast Cancer)” It’s my first time going here today. I can definitely say that it’s one of the BEST Secondhand Shop in Hamilton (for me). Price are reasonable and condition of items are good and of quality too. Compared to other secondhand shop like “Hospice Shops” that has ridiculous prices. I LOVE THIS STORE!! EXCEPT for the old lady in the register who has a men’s haircut. Rude lady. I bought this shoes and she said that it has a “stupid, STUPID! Price!” and after I paid for the shoes, she even asked me to stay in the register because she needs to confirm from the manager if the price was right. The manager confirmed it and I left confused and offended. Other than that, the store was great and other staff and volunteers were kind.
This is a beautoful op shop worth visiting. They have so many rooms filled with treasures! They have a huge clothing section at the front and lots of wonderful homeward, books, toys and more. I will say I have noticed some of the pricing has increased on items which is a shame as it is a second hand/charity shop. They do have some special discount days where they have fill a pillowcase for $5 or half price so its good to keep an eye out for that. Lovely staff, and a well organized shop.
Amazing Shop in terms of variety and quality of clothing, not only are you being more sustainable by purchasing pre loved clothing you know your money is also going into a good cause. Costumers service quality varies depending on the people running the shop. While all are nice in my opinion some aren't as welcoming nor friendly as others. Amazing shop overall.
This op shop has a huge range of primo second hand clothing and bric a brac. Located on the north end of Victoria Street here in Hamilton, please call in. Breast cancer is a reality that consistently needs funding. Such a noble cause.
