A very interesting and unique place to visit. Set of the street in a old villa, it has carefully curated selection of things for sale, from cabinets of jewelry, accessories small objects, from Early Victorian, to Edwardian through to Mid century. Antique kitchenware and housewares, fascinating objects, large unique pieces of furniture, an assortment of the most interesting lamps, very industrial looking. This place is a must look, if you are in Christchurch or visiting. It is set in one of the most neglected areas in Christchurch, broken footpaths and not even a crossing at this busy area, where several antique shops are situated and these places are a huge asset to to the area. I really enjoy visiting this business, the shop owner has an extensive knowledge of the wares that she is selling and a collection of some unusual and interesting things for sale. I would put this on my list of one of the most interesting shops, places to visit in Christchurch.

No good. Very bizarre experience. Cool stuff and good selection, but the owner is a mad woman. Very unfriendly and bad attitude. Rudely asked us to leave because I opened a case without asking. I apologized and explained how sorry I was and she said, “get out!”

Three stars for the wonderful variety of collectables, a joy to explore. Unfortunately I found the staff a little pretentious. I've visited a couple of times when visiting Christchurch and have had similar experiences. Unfortunately I probably won't return.
