Check out Totara Hospice Shop The Gardens in The Gardens
About this shop
A kids' op shop, effectively — the Tōtara network channels much of its children's clothing and toys here, so the depth is real and the quality holds. Reviewers echo it: tidy, lovely staff, made for little ones — though there's barely a rack for the grown-ups. Fold it into a Botanic Gardens or Tōtara Park outing, and drive rather than walk.

4.0 ★ · 10 Google ratingsA dedicated kids' shop — clothing and toys are the play, with only a token rack of women's stuff (don't come for that). It's slightly pricier than the cheapest options, but the quality is consistently good, and the Tōtara network funnels a large share of its kids' stock here, so there's real depth.
Don't plan it as an op-shop loop — go because you're already at the Botanic Gardens, Tōtara Park, Beaumont's Café or the playground, and drive (it's about 15 minutes' walk from the Gardens, so not really walkable). Definitely worth the stop if you have kids.
