Balanced a cozy atmosphere with well organised and cleverly themed shelves. Great vintage sci-fi and fantasy. Impressive New Zealand ecology!
I walked in, got the exact Reacher book I wanted for $6, walked out, what more could you ask for in a used book store? Convenient to walk over from downtown riverfront if you’re having a bit of a stroll.
This store is stuffed with amazing books, varying in age. Great for finding your next literary treausure: Wether youre looking for poetry, the classics, history, music, etc., theres a department for you. The Storekeeper is a great guy, who will assist you with pleasure and is up for a chat. I was so positively surprised by the amazing music played here that I could have stayed for hours. Definitely a recommendation if you like to browse through books.
When you walk into this book shop, you can immediately see and feel the magic between the pages of the great books sold here for a very fair price. They have an interesting and unique selection, I could have spent hours just looking around. The store keeper was so nice, he even gave us recommendations for the city! Such a cool place, I‘m looking forward to reading my books!!
My new favourite place and a reason to stop in Whanganui! I could easily spend hours in here. Found some precious copies of my favourites and a couple of new reads as well. I will be telling everyone I know about this place, on the proviso that of they see a nice hardback of Gone With The Wind, they get it for me 😁
