The books, the light brown wooden shelves, the warm lighting, all the small cute items here and there,…. everything was just right. Spent an hour in the bookstore and yet couldn’t bring myself to leave the place. A real book lovers heaven

Great second hand book store, lots of really interesting items and really enjoyable to browse. You can feel the owners passion for literature when you walk in. There are ladders available to customers to reach higher shelves as shelving reaches to the ceiling in many places. Some small seats throughout store for customers to settle in and spend some time previewing potential purchases. Clearly defined sections and a fun $5 sale bin at the door :)

Always love this place.. Browsing around all the shelfs and racks, looking at a vast variety of books, cards, prints, comics, vintage items and more. To me, this place feels more like a comfy museum of books catering different genres & interests, in a vintage setting. You can find many used books from New Zealand as well as international writers. Biographies, politics, nature, music, arts & crafts, fictions, non-fictions, poetry, comics, children’s book and many more! Some great finding if you know what you’re looking for! The staff are friendly and helpful, too. I love the fact there are chairs with comfy pillows at different corner available for us. The alleys inside might be a bit narrow for those using wheelchairs but outside there are interesting racks of books & sales as well. The front part has stairs on it. Happy to be back here..
