Save the Children Riverton

The prices in this shop are ridiculously high. I am a jewellery lover, and I go to different op shops almost every day to look for jewellery. Two months ago, I came here and saw some very damaged jewellery, but the prices were even higher than brand-new items in shopping centres. Today, I came here again and saw the same broken jewellery still sitting there unsold. Some pieces are missing stones, and they are basically just cheap metal, but they are selling them for $20. With $20, I could buy a lot of brand-new jewellery at Kmart. It is honestly ridiculous.

I love visiting this op shop, the ladies are all very welcoming. I always find something to buy. Great selection of everything.

Wonderful clean shop with enthusiastic volunteer workers who are very friendly and helpful.

A stack of books fell on me from the top of a bookshelf. I placed them back up flat down so it wouldn't happen again. While lining up to pay, we overheard a worker complaining that someone had undone the books (apparently they were wrapped in plastic?) We told her it fell on me. She then yelled at us because according to her, the right thing to do was to tell her first. She was seeing no reason whatsoever and continued to yell. She was SO rude and raised her voice to us in front of everyone. It was so embarrassing, so we just left our stuff at the counter and left. Absolutely appauling customer service. If that happened to a child, would she yell at them too? Honestly just confused about the whole interaction, such a good little op shop ruined by someone so sad and awful.

What’s with the prices in your op shop??? Everything is WAY over priced and ridiculously marked.. biggest rip off op shop. Disgusting considering you get EVERYTHING DONATED!
