I barely stepped in the door before being told they do bag checks on exit (which im fine with) so i showed what I'd already purchased in the neighbouring op shops. She then commented "hopefully you'll find something in your price range here" which felt a little personal. However i soon discovered the prices are exorbitant. $85 for a jacket from next. Decent brand, but not designer, and would unlikely cost that new. Also, like is popular these days, is arranged by colour not size. With the pricing and lack of sizing, i don't think id revisit. On the positive side, it looks pretty.
this shouldn’t be marketed as a thrift. for the price of one item you could easily get five from the other op shops on the parade, however, they do have a good selection of high quality items (particularly mid and plus size) that are actually quite fashionable. i feel like the store would be better described as a secondhand store rather than an op shop. when i’ve visited the staff have always been warm and welcoming. overall a solid place if you’re looking for something nice without having to sift through endless racks of fast fashion if you don’t mind paying a bit extra :)
