U can really find some awesome gemd here , super reccomended if u are lookin for adding underground or not easily available items to your collections , glad that they have lots of choice for CDS as well , ive seen that many Places are a bit snob on that deciding to not include them at all ,gonna come back very soon
I don't buy records or CDs anymore but I checked out the dvds & blu-rays which were reasonably priced. They clearly have a good selection of stuff in all categories. The one downside to the store is it didn't seem to have any ac on & it was uncomfortably warm in there otherwise I would have spent more time looking through stuff.
Love love love this place! I’ve only recently started collecting records but I’ve found a few places a bit intimidating, not so with Dixon. You kind of just get left alone, which is really nice. I love to browse and can lose hours flicking through the records, but I also know that if I have a question, the staff will be super helpful. Oh, and this place is huge! Lastly, it’s a nice touch that when you buy a record you get a new plastic sleeve with it, plus the large brown paper bag just makes it all feel a bit more special somehow.
This is a great music store, one of the increasingly rare places to find physical music media. They have a wide selection of different genres and formats, including CDs and vinyl, and it seems to be a well-curated collection. It feels like being back in one of those old-school music stores! And I love being able to bring in a box-load of discs for sale whenever I feel like culling my collection (though I often end up using it as store credit after browsing the stock)! And the staff are super friendly and well-versed in the music biz. Also, the store is right next to a main road, which makes it easy to gind and get to. The only issue? Limited parking available! Though there is some decent parking spaces on the side street, as it turns out. In short, Dixon's is one of a few great resources for the vintage and modern music collector. I make this place a regular visit whenever I'm in the area. Thank you!
These guys are worth a visit, but it’s a bit of a slow one as there’s so much stock to go through. Some good finds, but also lots of stock that is on the lower end. Definitely a huge location and great for those looking for CD’s. Seems like it hasn’t changed much since the 1990’s.
