While the clothes in this op shop were reasonably priced I was (as someone who loves old kitchenware) put off by the massive display of old rustic kitchenware that is apparently someone’s “private collection” and not for sale and while I understand some of this collection may have been sourced elsewhere, it seemed obvious to me by the complete lack of any vintage kitchenware for sale that whoever owns or runs this up shop likely keeps every beautiful, vintage, kitchenware donation for themselves and their “private collection” which takes out the excitement and possibility of a customer ever possibly finding some precious old treasure themselves. How many vintage beaters and spoons does one really need? Perhaps this “private collection” should be stored elsewhere as it’s just a tease and quite deceptive to the average treasure hunting shopper.
