Really good selection of items and very friendly staff. I came away with a bag of books.
When your close time is 4pm don’t tell your customers you close in 5mins when it’s only 3:40. I’m sure every dollar spent goes to something worthy and unfortunately you lost sales this afternoon.
Housed outside the Cathedral on Fitzroy St, in a building on the main road, this shop is clean with well organised stock. It lacks collectibles and vintage items with mostly mainstream stock at very reasonable prices. I came when they had a sale and everything was half price so I paid $1 per t-shirt. There are local homemade preserves like jam and chutney, fresh donated plants and produce like limes asnd turmeric, a pleasant surprise. Lovely helpful volunteers. Worth a look if you need household goods and work clothes at a reasonable price.
Fairly expensive clothes not much bric-a-brac
