Good selection of clothes, prices were ok.
I visited the shop last Thursday. Very sad to see a sign saying We are Not accepting any clothing.I found a pair of PJs nothing special look like they had been well worn very faded but I was ok with that. When you don't have much something is better than nothing. Until I notice the price $10 oml and they were a warehouse brand.Please if you lower your sale point you will find people would buy alot more and your turn over alot higher and you wouldn't be turning people away who made the effort and time to come to donate and be turned away.The price of crockery and baking items are totally out of reach. round cake tin nothing special $9. I left with only 1 item purchased I would of left with alot more if it wasn't for the high price tags. Turn over, money in the till is a heck lot better than having stock sitting and turning people away from gifting. All about knowing your clients needs and affordability marketing is the key. Love the Sallies work and they help my mum and me out giving us a safe place back in the early 70s in the grand old villa in ponsonby
The salvation army is always great for a shop.and they are doing great things for the community. So drop off all your good quality donations. Always the nicest people that work there. And what a bargain got a couple of things for my daughter for a couple of bucks. Thanks 😊
