We had a great time and Wayne discounted items for us!
We were excited to be going to check this place out. When we got there you could barely move around inside because its so packed with 'stuff' and if one person stops in an aisle then that brings everyone to a halt. There was certainly a variety of items, but being able to see them became challenging as there was barely room to move. There were empty containers from the recently viral ice creams for sale, this just felt like unnecessary junk, for example. It felt like a hoarders dream, and if there was less stuff there I think it'd be better.
We spent about an hour, but I could easily spend more diving into the hidden parts.
Welcome to ‘Waynes World’ Leave it to the pictures. Probably one of the most amazing collection of collections of collections of collections and it’s only a small fraction that you get to see. Be prepared to spend some time in there and take yourself a coffee for a coffee break. Make sure you have a chat to Wayne he’s incredible . And he’s got plenty of stories to talk about. You’ll find some of his stuff from the Peter Jackson movies:-)
I believe it is the Biggest vintage shop in Wellington region, the warehouse size. Once I got in, It looks like a huge museum with wide range of collections, it’s hard for the owner to display them neatly for sure. it is the place full of discoveries. I always find something make my eyes sparking time to time. Unlike any other shop, it’s an experience just to visit. Highly recommended.
