Visited Melbourne Pet Rescue Superstore recently and unfortunately it wasn’t a great experience. The store itself is very large and there’s definitely a huge amount of stock to look through, but overall the place felt quite grotty and poorly maintained. A lot of the items looked dirty and dusty. The biggest issue was noticing mould on some of the books, which was pretty off putting and made it hard to comfortably browse through the shelves. There’s definitely potential here because the size of the op shop is impressive and you can tell there’s a lot of donated stock coming through, but the cleanliness and presentation really need improvement

They are alll volunteers who do the animals rescue themselves, no affiliation with other animal rescue, which can be both bad and good. They open until 6.30pm. great 👍 Prices are varied alot, some are low 1-digits, some are low 2 digits. Glass, mug etc are $1. There are gems to be found. The place is large with so many things to see. Pram friendly, but might be hard for wheelchairs. Warning for those having allergies: since this is an animal rescue shop, it attracts animal lovers, so clothes might have pet hair, and there can be dogs inside.
