About this shop
Mission On George is a central Launceston op shop with a more curated, boutique-leaning mix than a basic essentials stop. The racks and shelves combine pre-loved fashion and footwear with bric-a-brac and collectables; vintage and designer pieces are among the possible finds. It is an easy addition to a George Street browse, while each purchase contributes to City Mission programs assisting Tasmanians facing hardship in the state’s north and north-west.

Clean, well presented. Good size shop with lots of clothing and knick-knacks. Upstairs you'll find books, DVDs and music. Worth a stop!
What a little gem , great selection, beautiful, friendly staff, most organised and well set out little recycled store for a great cause. Well done Mission on George,
Beautifully managed and decorated. I love how they have everything so neatly presented. It made it such an enjoyable shopping experience. There's something for everyone here!
Went to this store and found it amazing! We are visiting from NZ and do a lot of op shopping back home. Store was beautifully curated, great prices and the lady and gentlemen that were working were absolutely lovely! Brought a beautiful watercolour of Beauty Point.Might go back tomorrow for another look! Well done!
What a fabulous op shop ! Gorgeous clothes , many with tags and lovely homewares etc . The shop is thoughtfully decorated with a real vintage feel . Ann was working the day we visited and she was absolutely delightful. I only wish there was a mission op shop like this in Melbourne
