The staff in that shop are very nice and friendly people. Highly recommend for everyone!!!
I've been to Castlemaine only twice but both times I stopped by because I love both the volunteers and the items they have. Everything is well organised and they've always got a nice selection of shoes and crockery. I got an adorable pin and I was walking around with my bag of clothes and one of the volunteers kindly directed me to the changing room. They also helped my dad find some comics and the shop is situated in an accessible area.
I'm a little confused at the reviews about unfriendly staff, because I had a fantastic experience today, like I always do at any Vinnies, hats off to Lesley who was run off her feet with customers, and still helping everyone with the front door when their hands were full, and remember that the staff are volunteering time out of their lives for a good cause! The castlemaine shop was well presented with some goodies to be found as always, and a few brand new things, obviously from nearby shops for next to nothing, love you guys and keep doing what you're doing!
Lovely shop with plenty of stock. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Put it on your list if you love opp shopping.
