A fantastic book shop with a very friendly owner that also pointed us out what else to do in town.
This little book store at the entrance to the Hastings show grounds is an extension of the Lions' annual book sale. There are three rooms of books, separated into fiction, non-fiction, and children's books. Most books are $2, but some are more expensive. Staffed by friendly volunteers, and proceeds go to the charity. There isn't a lot of space, but lots of throughput, so the stock changes regularly, and staff are happy to note what you're looking for and keep an eye out for it in the masses of books they have in storage.
