Thank you so much to Deb and Helen for the sewing classes!! I am so proud of the pants I learned to make in my first class, and went home and made 5 more pairs 😹 Todays class I tackled a jumpsuit, and cannot believe how much I learned from the ladies, and how patient they are with all my questions. It makes a huge impact for me…being autistic I struggle to understand instructions, and the ladies took their time making sure I understood and felt confident with the process. Am so very appreciative, and so proud of my new skills!!! Cannot wait for the next class! Katie 😊

I’ve been coming to the Moorooka Sewing Lair since the start of this year, and Deb, Onyx and the whole team have always been so exceptionally kind, helpful and just so pleasant to be around. The shop itself it’s always immaculate, everything is always tidy and well presented, and the staff always go above and beyond to help wherever they can. It’s not only getting amazing prices (the $5 fill a bag sees me more frequently than I’ll admit!), and the fact the funds are going to a great cause, but it’s just a lovely experience every time! Can’t recommend the Moorooka team enough😊
