A couple of the staff were actually quite rude to me, I was enquiring about the cost of a flatscreen TV, I asked them how much it was, and one of the two ladies serving me at the counter said to me 'It's actually been sold'. I said, 'hmm, It is a nice TV, how much did you sell it for?' One of the ladies asked the other quietly in a sneaky tone 'I don' t know, should we tell him? ' right in front of me, but I heard what she said, so I said to her ' If you don't want to tell me you don't have to tell me, I but I don't see what the big deal is if you don't?. She noticed that I looked slightly annoyed, and she said ' $100, I the TV was sold for $100. It was not the kind of pettiness that one would expect to encounter in an op shop.
