Love the shop but why suffocating Kermit the Frog? What did he ever do to you?🤣
Staff can't tell the time 🙄 The incredibly helpful staff at the Malvern Road store directed me to this store yesterday, advising it was bigger. Arrived at 5.19pm, sign said it closed at 5.30pm, lights already out, place locked up tight and not a soul to be seen.
I think this is Red Cross op shop is the gem of Chapel St. While it looks unassuming and slightly tucked away from the main drag, the variety and quality of accessories, clothes and customer service is far superior to that of anywhere else in the area.
I know this place is a charity store however the prices are ridiculous. Suit jackets are easily $60-80 (whereas at the sacred heart further down the road they are priced $10-20). Mugs are $7-10 (unlike the usual $2). And women’s wear is mostly $20+. Compared to the many other reasonably priced second hand shops on chapel st I would not recommend this
