Vinnies Stirling Shop

Tried donating some clothes as I’m pregnant and was doing a big clear out. The manager and staff either ignored me or were rude to me. I don’t understand why they behaved that way, here I am trying to donate brand name clothing that I could sell for $100-$300 a piece and I get spoken to in a disgusting manner! They didn’t even look at what I was trying to give them, no “thank you”, no “sorry we aren’t taking donations right now”, no human decency what so ever! And people who are not well off are meant to feel comfortable shopping here! I dont know how these people sleep peacefully at night! Will never be donating here!

They’ve lost their ever loving minds at this ‘op shop’ where even plain unbranded salt and pepper shakers they’re asking $8! Dinnerware set $175. I left utterly disgusting. I want to support op shops but their prices are outrageous.

Regardless of how/why this store collects funds to support homelessness or the disadvantaged - the prices in this store are exorbitant. I saw a teacup and saucer set for $30 today, a tea set for $65, generally 40-50% higher than any other op shop in the City of Stirling. Save your self the trip and source similar items on marketplace - at least you can negotiate the price. This store is ridiculously overpriced, no matter the reason for it.

First time visiting, saw so many items and was impressed.. Understand why there was so many items, most expensive op shop I’ve been in. Some dvd series were $7 a season!! Staff were friendly

The shop is quite large and has a wide variety of furniture for sale. It’s a great place to browse if you’re looking for second-hand pieces. However, I found that some of the clothing items were overpriced for a second-hand store. Overall, it’s still worth checking out, especially for the furniture selection.
