I had the pleasure of visiting Katie Rose Op Shop last Saturday. What a delight it was! The shop was clean and well organised, and the staff were exceptionally polite and helpful (a big shout out to Isabel)! I love all my purchases. Thanks so much!
It is always a pleasure to shop at the Katie Rose Maroochydore op shop. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the range of items on sale at great prices is terrific. I have even seen brand new items for sale at a fraction of their normal retail price. I love that some larger organisations donate these new items to this op shop so that they can be sold, with all monies going to such a worthy charity. Katie Rose Cottage Hospice is a local charity that relies on income from their op shops to enable the Hospice at Doonan to provide a service for our community at no cost to those requiring it. I also love that the op shop has items on offer at no charge to the homeless. Such a fantastic community! If you are looking for a charity to support or just looking for some fantastic op shop finds, this is the place to go!
This is the best op shop on the coast !! Wonderful selection of items that are all affordable, I love the rack of free items out the front. There is something for everyone. The items are top quality and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately another op shop that’s lost its ways and lost sight of what it means to be an op shop. For items that you receive for FREE the prices continue to rocket up, Kmart brands costing more than they would at Kmart, shein items being seen on the “boutique” section of the racks and unless you want a bed sheet with either a worn out elastic, stain or hole you won’t find a reasonable price. Anything over $30 or even $40 it just greed and goes completely against the ethics of a charity shop. I remember when it was fun to find a bargain at a charity shop but alas, those days are over. The constant urge to increase pricing and constant lack of knowledge of what your items are actually worth and what your demographic are will always disappoint myself and this community.
