Much better location here and huge selection, especially lots of collectors items and designer furniture. Pricing seems reasonable on clothes
About this shop
Not your usual op shop — Habitat's resource-recovery programme fills this new Link Drive store with things others can't stock, including racks of as-new retail donations. Quality is the theme our field note and the reviews below share; pricing is where reviewers split, sitting a step above the strip. Come for the good stuff, not the bargain bin.

3.6 ★ · 33 Google ratingsThe new Wairau Valley ReStore, in the Link Drive complex next to St John — and a big step up from the old site. Habitat's resource-recovery programme means you'll find things a normal op shop can't carry: building fittings and hardware with their own dedicated areas, plus racks of stock donated straight from big-label retailers, some of it as-new.
Half of one side is crockery, crystal and teacups, there's a lot of genuinely nice furniture, and collectables, sports gear and shoes round it out. Expect prices a notch above the neighbours — but the quality of what lands here runs higher too.

Amazing new store. Great prices, super friendly staff
Amazing prices! New items! I got a beautiful dress for $8! New it would have been $190 😮 Beautiful small clean op shop, definitely stop by 😁👍
$10 for an old, small Clarins fabric make up bag that comes free with original purchase. Are they serious? What a pack of sharks.
Ok range of things but prices are high on lots of basic goods, why would I pay $2 for 1 envelope? This dress price made me giggle - absolutely appreciate it still has tags on so is new but the $250 is wild.
Good sending hand shop lots to offer. A must visit in the shore After some years this shop is completely changed over. Lots of quality products
