Not overpriced items are sold as is so check the quality yourself when shopping. Lovely volunteers working there, the environment is clean and spacious
Great shop. Only problem is overpricing of items. Such as Kmart (anko), ROMWE, Shein, Temu, Big W ect. It has been a problem throughout a lot of op shops as it seems maybe pricing guidelines (I assume this is what would be used) are too vague. I would suggest having set prices on these lower ended brands or a more structured way to price to prevent an Anko top that you can buy new for $10 being sold for $8 .. and I would get it if it’s new with tags, but a lot of the time they’re not. They’re used and loved. My wife had once seen a new with tags ROMWE top for $20.00 when it sells online for $12.00 or something like that. Please get your people who price to use Google images. To ask questions if they’re not sure. To not blindly price items. We are here for a bargain, vintage finds, or something unique. Not to look through racks of clothing just to see an old Kmart top for $8 when its original price was $10. I will never get angry at prices, you have been donated items to sell. I hate this whole “you get it for free!” .. people donate as they can’t be bothered selling it theirselves, or they want to help these charities create profits to help those in need. I enjoy this store a lot, just a slight amount of disappointment however this review is to help provide happier customers.
Great, large store with heaps of variety that is well laid out. Lots of great bargains available. Staff are also happy and smiling.
Been coming here for quite some time, I love the colour and category coordination, new additions such as the jewellery bags (usually $5-7). My personal favourite sections are the books, formal dresses, home decor and men’s shirts. Vinnies prices haven’t changed too much with the surge of youth in stores as thrifting has become more popular which I’m glad about. Volunteers are always quite personable when you’re checking out.
