Excellent service. My daughter's vinyl record got wrapped slightly during shipment overseas. I asked for "dewarp" service for the sake I want to protect the suspension of my cartridge just like car lovers care about their vehicles. The staff asked me enough questions to ensure I understand the risk and outcome, which I really appreciated from both sides' viewpoints. The flattener is of Orb which I was thinking to get one from Japan. Now I can come here again when I or my daughter find out another wrapped record!
Recordstore is my favourite lil record store in Sydney. They are a great one-stop shop for a plethora of audiophile needs. They have it all - media, hardware and services. I've bought bookshelf speakers, vinyl, had my Technics 1200 serviced and, most recently purchased a Spin Clean record cleaner! Recordstore is where I bought my Chic misprinted vinyl that, for some reason, has Willie Nelson on the B side! Recordstore regularly has great deals on their products, so keep an eye out. I'm pretty sure when I bought the bookshelf speakers, they came with a voucher to spend in the store, which I wasted no time in doing. The Spin Clean I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were doing a sale on hardware, so I snagged a great deal. I had also forgotten to ask for a receipt and, when I reached out the next day, they were great and sent me a copy within a few hours. The team are also really active in the community, which is great to see from a small business. You can tell that they're just as passionate about music as their customers, which is always a joy. If you've been thinking about dropping in, do not hesitate and do it today!!
I was so lucky to find The Record Store. I stayed about 2 hours, bought great records and had nice chat with the owner. He loves and knows what he is doing. Lovely person's uniqe record store. It's a must go place for vinyl and music lovers
