The lady that works where you pay is always so lovely. Always has a smile on her face and has a chat. The first time I went there she was so helpful. An asset to the team she works with.
Cool place, lovely helpful staff & lots of bargains 😃 & great things to repair & do up for your home.e.g the unit in the photo
Packed full of items that would have otherwise ended up in landfill. A bit hard to navigate the inside section just due to the nature of stuff everywhere. Some of the prices were quite steep especially given they were quite dirty or needed some repairs. Would recommend more if you are after DIY supplies such as wood, nuts and washers. In regards to other items like toys, stationery etc wouldn't make a special trip.
Old coffee cups re-puposed to kitchen herb cups. Fab helpful staff here too.

About this shop
The Junction is more than a secondhand shop: it is New Plymouth’s community zero-waste hub. The Reuse Shop sells good-quality items diverted from landfill at prices intended to make reuse practical, while the same site accepts several harder-to-place streams including household batteries and e-waste. Workshops and bookable tours explain what happens after recycling leaves the kerb. It suits shoppers who want a useful browse tied directly to waste reduction, education and local community work.
