Great staff and great selection
Loved this place. Lots of products which are good for a second life. Staff is courteous and helpful.

What a fantastic experience at this very small-town hospice shop in Ōtaki. From the moment you walk through the door and are greeted with a warm kia ora, to when you leave with a friendly “Kia ora, thanks for visiting,” you genuinely feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. The atmosphere is lovely — relaxed, friendly, and unpretentious. It’s one of those places where you instantly feel comfortable having a proper browse without being rushed or ignored. The staff were warm and engaging, and it really shows how much pride they take in the shop and the cause behind it. The stock was surprisingly good quality, especially for such a small shop, and the pricing was excellent. I actually felt like I had to buy something — not out of obligation, but because I genuinely wanted to. Great value and some really nice finds. This shop is an absolute joy and a credit to the local community. Definitely worth going out of your way to visit if you’re in or passing through Ōtaki.
Lovely op shop. You can find vintage collections here. Clothes, kitchenware..with lovely ladies who work here.
