It's like a forest but instead of trees, you get huge piles of literally everything. It's also very dusty if you wanna dig things up. I found some absolute gems there and was amazed by her collection built over 26 years (that’s what she told us!) Sylvia is definitely an eccentric person, but she was very friendly and helped us find the things we were looking for. She doesn't like it when people dig things up and don't put them back in their original place (very valid thooo??), which makes it hard for us and future visitors to find things… like the other shoe of a pair 😭

I've wandered past here many times and have had various chats with Sylvia. I've always caught her on a good day as the chats were always friendly and pleasant. I went by yesterday and it was fantastic to see that the store had been cleared and I could actually walk through. Every time I've visited in the past 2.5 years there were objects piled high and all Sylvia could do was open the shop door. Sylvia had complained back then that no-one was buying anything and I had kindly suggested that perhaps if people could come inside they might make more purchases. Yesterday I bought a beautiful two piece shirt and matching bottoms which Sylvia said she had had in storage for 20 years. They surprisingly did not have an odour to them either. There is definitely Treasure and Trash to be found here, and it's nice to engage with the quirky store and quirky shop owner Sylvia.
