Affordable clothing and accessories

I often pop in to the Ayr Vinnies store and it's a large and attractive and very clean store.Well stocked and good displays of different items. Only issue I have is with the descriptions on some of the price tags of bed sheets and Doona Covers. I think they may just guess the sizing and write on items. A few months ago I bought a nice white fitted sheet marked Double bed and it didn't fit and seemed to be only a King Single so I can't use it. Recently I bought a Doona Cover for $4 marked "Queen DC" but it barely even covers a Double bed. I do try and open/spread out and look at the bedding while in the store but the tags they use are sometimes attached through a couple of layers of the material so you can not open it properly. Next time I might take a tape measure with me and double check sizing and query it with staff at the counter if the sizing is wrong. That should hopefully stop me wasting money on items that aren’t the correct sizing. I have found some good homewares, storage boxes and kitchenware at good prices and shirts/trousers there over the last 12 months so am very happy with that. I also like the 50 cents rack they often have near the front. Always worth browsing.
