Check out Te Oraka in North Dunedin
About this shop
Te Oraka is much more than a conventional thrift shop on the University of Otago campus. The student-led space brings together pre-loved clothing, second-hand bikes, refill essentials, rescued e-waste and student-run enterprises under one roof. Its kaupapa is to make sustainable choices affordable and accessible for students, while money spent in store is reinvested in event kai, paid student time and resources that keep the space active.
