Rotary DIK is a wonderful facility, with happy volunteers always willing to assist. I have been a 'client' of DIK for many years now, sending boxes of donated goods from Ballarat people to Dili, Timor-Leste.
An inspiring organisation. Collects used medical and school equipment for distribution to pacific countries and local needy people.
This place is amazing for people with medical needs or disbability needs. Volunteers there are very helpful.
A Rotary project supported by many clubs, awesome work sending valuable but superceded hospital beds, equipment, wheelchairs, walkers etc etc plus school desks, chairs, laptops, uniforms and so, so much more to overseas hospitals, schools, projects Volunteers give their time Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's a great thing to be involved with and support financially, with time and goods
We were lucky et to have a tour of this facility. They do amazing work repurposing obsolete and unwanted medical supplies and machinery for use overseas.
