What an incredible place! The atmosphere is absolutely amazing, and the owners are so kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Walking through the shop feels like visiting a museum, with fascinating treasures everywhere you look. Don’t just walk past this place—go inside! Make sure to allow at least 1–2 hours for your visit because there are two floors filled with beautiful and unique items. Take your time and look carefully—you’ll keep discovering something special around every corner. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I was truly happy spending time here today!
Bought this beautiful bench / cabinet that we use as a vinyl stand. Such good value for money and amazing quality. Great friendly service also.
Now called THE POST MISTRESS VINTAGE This place is a MUST DO if you're in Katoomba for a visit. Two floors of delightful, quirky, interesting vintage, antique items from beautiful 50's clothing for both ladies and gentlemen. Quirky toys and novelty gifts. Vintage and antique watches, clocks and cameras. Mid century modern furniture...it's just amazing!! It's simply amazing and it's in the Old Katoomba Post Office at the top end of town just down from the Carrington.
Incredible vintage store in the heart of Katoomba in the old Post Office building. A variety of different vendors. Absolutely wonderful shopkeepers so friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to come visit again one day. This place is fantastic. Some great clothes, retro items and kids toys.
What a beautiful shop! It’s very well organised, huge range (photos don’t do justice), prices seem quite reasonable and the people working there, very creative and passionate. The dressing room would make anyone feel like a star :) Popped in for a quick browse and were welcomed immediately and told the layout and even their upcoming plans for a cafe etc. We travel up from Sydney very frequently and will definitely visit again!
