Modest sized store, beautifully laid out. I’m not a “thrifter” by any means but I have been to a few and I loved that this one is laid out in sections (kids toys, books, clothes, etc) and that furniture is thoughtfully laid out as you’d expect in a home so as you go through you see a lounge with a coffee table and decor.. all for sale. Small thoughtful things like that make it feel like a great place to be. These things belonged to people before and have stories, you really feel that as you move through the room. I also loved how the glassware was all clean, not a spec of dirt or dust. I also enquired about gifting some old furniture and they want photos prior to picking it up and don’t want anything damaged (basically things that will actually sell) and I kind of love that! Sure if you’re trying to flog off some old stuff it’s probably not ideal, but you can tell this store is only taking stuff that will actually sell and therefore make room for new stock and contribute to saving lives more efficiently in my opinion. Ignore the sour review, I don’t think it’s overpriced. Glassware was still only $1 and some beautiful furniture pieces all under $200. If you have time I’d recommend you make a visit and decide for yourself.
