this week the store has yellow tag 50% off, so i bought a jacket that has a yellow tag $20 and it got ripped off while getting change so i brought it with me to the sales register to show the sales girl. anyways the girls went to the back to clarify the price with the manager on duty and came back saying the price of the jacket is now $30 full price. I still bought it cause i loved the jacket but its insane that they can charge so much for something they get for free. so greedy
overpriced... cheapest baby clothes are $3 a piece. Went to another Salvos and got clothes for $1 each. I was told there that all salvos stores should be priced the same so I don't know how this store is getting away with it. Bloody greedy considering you people get the stuff for free!!
Wanted to pop in to check for a larger item. Don’t bother coming here if within 15 minutes from close time. Half of the lights were off and few people still shopping. 15 minutes prior to close, tried to walk in and they told me they were closed and refused to let me look when i advised wanted a Quick Look for something specific. The rude staff member was an older lady with grey hair (refused to give name).
Took my very excited children here today, my little girl needed the toilet pretty much as soon as we got there. Asked to use the bathroom and got a rude NO, I explained it’s not for myself and for my girl, still a rude no and was told to go across the road to the public toilet when my girl is obviously about to have an accident. So had to put away the things we collected and go out of the store to find a bathroom. It was very hot in the store as well, pretty average kids selection. Found some good clothes for myself tho. Neat and tidy store.
Went to donate some clothes today at 4.40pm knowing they close at 5pm. Back doors are shut. Drive around the front, red bins missing. Rude staff member is already closing the front door. I showed my bag so she knew I was just donating clothes, not coming to browse. She makes a big display looking at her watch, begrudgingly lets me in and bluntly tells me to “come at 4pm next time!”. Here I am trying to do a good deed and I’m getting scolded?? I am not going to race around trying to fit in with her preferred schedule. I’ll be going elsewhere to make my donations in future. Reading all these reviews it seems I’m not the first person to be treated like this at this store. I won’t be back!
