Had a great experience at the Salvation Army Family Store in Rangiora - Pauline, Yolanda, Jill and Phillipa were all great members of staff, being helpful, friendly and easy to chat with. Pauline runs the place with skill, and teed me up a great deal for some furniture, including arranging a painless and convenient delivery. A bonus is the store is well stocked with some great finds, priced very reasonably. I picked up quite a few items here. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thanks guys!
Clean, well stocked and well set out shop Prices are reasonable The staff are extremely friendly and there was no issues returning an item that my son didn't like for a full refund
Really loved this wee gem will come back again bought lots of little nick nacks was fun thanks you
Much better location now. Just past the roundabout about on Eastbelt. Great parking and lovely staff
Price needs to be reviewed. It used to be one of the best shop in North Canterbury, but things have risen to match NEW in original shop prices if not near. Things like a plant pot prices $17 in used condition with some wear and right after found it in the original shop at the SAME price. Not what I'd called a good value for an opportunity shop; they forget that op shopping is about opportunity/hunting. It takes time, patient and lots of going around to find what you need in these shop and most people op shopping are in NEED of bargain. People donating would be glad to hear their goods aren't reaching people in need. Please remind staff to do fair pricing: $17 for a plant pot is not reasonable.
