We usually love this space as it is a great Vinnies but yesterday we were left feeling quite saddened. The two shop assistants were incredibly rude. Firstly an old lady bought a ceramic bowl with a lid. She dropped the lid and it smashes as she was leaving and instead of helping her, the assistants put up a defence and just stared at her. I went up and comforted the lady and told her she could still use the bottom as a pot plant holder, and she smiled. Then as we were about to pay and leave my sisters little boy soiled his nappy. We were about the check out when the lady came up to us and that the child has a dirty diaper. We said yes we know, we are leaving. She said Good. My sister then left and I stayed a while longer. The assistant then made a big show of spraying aerosol everywhere and commenting on how disgusting it was etc etc. Even making comments to other shoppers. We left feeling quite crestfallen as we are big supporters or Vinnies. Usually this store is wonderful, but not this time.
Fabulous range of pre-loved clothes. I went looking for a formal suit for an upcoming wedding and Karen, the St. Vinnies volunteer, took charge of me and chose just the right suit for me. Excellent service and advice.
Love coming to this place. Everything is well-lit and spacious. A great place for homewares and retro furniture. Also a nicely organised haberdashery section. Some of the clothing can be pricey for what it is, but within that you can find some true vintage bargains!
Very polite people and very friendly people, very helpful and done so much for me when I lost my family, I done a great deal for them and they made me feel like a family and help me so much in ways you never knew and its a great shop to buy and great deals, the people have great respect and earned my respect, definitely an asset to Bundaberg and they deserved all the help they need, a family like never before, they have integrity and pride and honor, well done people.....
