Amazing community store!! Great prices on all the items and it is also a discount grocery store - everything I checked was in date as well! Got a bag of 10 tomato’s for $2. All proceeds go towards the community and there was free fruit and bread for low income. Staff were lovely.
It’s the best op shop I’ve been to. I really think everyone should check it out. Not only priced well, but it’s also clean and well organised, with books and DVDs sorted into sections. Always friendly staff, and directly benefits the Toowoomba community. It’s worth the drive out of the city centre to check it out
Be careful when purchasing jewellery, they label and price fake jewellery as real. I guess it is an op shop so they have no real way of checking, but in that case they should not be labeling it as real. I spent $50 on a necklace I thought was beautiful and was said to be silver but it turned out not to be. I don’t usually spend that much money on unnecessary things but I wanted to treat myself, very disappointed that it is fake when it was advertised as silver. Other than that it is a great shop with a variety of items and good pricing.
I finally decided to go to Tony's and was not disappointed. A great variety of food (which was truly grateful for) and wished I had enough time to have a better look around. Great prices for food (vegetables, frozen and everything else). I'll definitely go back and all prices the best I've ever seen. Thanks to all.
This is a place I can get behind. ALL profits go towards keeping his community kitchen open. Apart from what they make in the op shop, they also have kitchen groceries to purchase. Great bargains to be had there. Close to or just past their use by dates, really good buys in this place. The pricing on the clothes & kitchenware, homewares etc is great. Apart from items with tags still attached, clothing is only $1 a peice. Everything else is relatively well priced that I saw. However I would be happy to support this small venture as they are on the right track no matter their prices.
