Great experience donating to this charity. Organised, and amiable on phone. Operation set up is basic but makes me feel like it's the real deal, not posing as a retail for profit like so many 'charities' have become. Limited donation hours so call first. Beware of sat nav as it directs you to wrong end of Thornton Cres. Take a left at junction!

A decent portion of my items were not given to the removalist on the day of our collection and staff blamed the removalist, saying they didn't have room for all our items and I was put out of pocket by over $150 to return to get the missing items. It caused me unnecessary stress, financial loss and unpleasant experience. I'd heard really great things about this organisation and was disappointed by my bad experience.

I know often the individuals often don't entirely represent an organisation, however, I must say that Dr Immanuel Anthony was one of the most helpful, articulate, empathetic yet professional doctors I've come acrossed. He treated his patient like a human not just a number. Thank you all to the staff members at EERN for their prompt and efficient service.

Please don’t waste your time donating goods if you live in an apartment and can’t move everything outside ready for loading. I was not informed of this at the time of booking. The three volunteers who came stated that they were not capable of moving big items (I had 2 mattresses and a dining table) despite a lift being available. One volunteer in particular damaged my walls when moving a bedside table. No apology, only a remark “oops guess I just ruined your house.” Obviously I don’t expect compensation from a charity, but it does make me think twice next time when I want to donate goods. Still think this is a great cause, but it was a very disappointing experience due to the attitude of one volunteer.
