The Customer Service I received today from all involved was exceptional. Not only did I get the chance to purchase near new furniture, it’s being delivered early. Great Work 🙏
I can't believe I have lived in the area for years and I only just discovered this place and totally by accident. I stopped my car out front to take a call and from the outside I thought it was someone having a permanent garage sale. But when I walked inside I was totally blown away. It's a whole house which was graciously and amazingly donated to the charity to be used as their op shop. Walking inside every room is filled to the brim with amazing second hand goods. Each room is categorised, for example womens clothes, knitting and sewing, ceramics, etc, etc I loved walking into the homes bathroom and seeing all the wedding dresses hanging in the shower. But wait that's not all. Outside is also Jammed packed with categorised tents for furniture, garden, lighting, electrical etc, etc. This beats any antique store hands down and is soooooo much cheaper than vinnies is these days. The staff are all volunteers and are so friendly. They take all donations from large to small and have a furniture manager who could help if you needed any nice furniture gone. My mother in law passed recently and I found I couldn't give her lovely things away. Vinnies said they were to full. I ended up putting brand new shoes still in the box in the council throw outs. I am so dissapointed I didn't know about mother Hubbard's then, but I do now, so hopefully my review will direct some traffic to their door. They donate to domestic violence victims, homeless shelters, and the down and out and I'm sure many more There is free street parking and a wheelchair accessible entry to the outside. No toilets. I highly recommend
There is so much too look at ..all under cover....and lots of areas like a house a carport and a couple of sheds full...you could be in here for 1 week and still not look at everything ..a true treasure hunters experience
This place doesn't look like a shop but more like a house that has good stuffs in every room. I get a good find just outside the entrance and in the furniture room. Luckily all items are half priced on that day. The money from sales will help women and children who are homeless and also people effected by flooding. Great place for op shoppers and for people wanting to help support community.
